Welcome to British Bliss. I’m Chris, and today’s episode is a little different, it’s the end-of-season update. A short note from me to say thank you, and to share what’s next for the show.

First, gratitude. Over the past eleven months, British Bliss has released thirty-eight sleep stories and twenty-six guided meditations. Whether you listen every night or just when you need a little calm, thank you for being here.

Here’s a quick snapshot. The most-played story was Stillness Among the Cornfields, featuring Patch, inspired by my friend’s horse, and the most-played meditation was Calm Among Lavender Fields. At the other end of the scale, the least-played episode was A Slice of Togetherness: The Significance of Pumpkin Pie at Thanksgiving. So, rest assured, there’ll be no more pie in future episodes! Thank you for every play, review, and share, they really do mean a lot.

I’m taking a short four-week break to rest, and create new stories for the next season, one that’s even calmer and more soothing for you to look forward to.

During the break, I hope you’ll enjoy revisiting stories or meditations from the back catalogue that you might have missed.

The new season begins on Sunday the 9 November, and we’ll continue with two episodes each week. The only change is that Mindful Moments on Wednesdays will become Guided Sleep Meditations; ten to fifteen minute bedtime journeys that gently guide you into rest, rather than following a character. This change comes from your feedback, and I hope it helps you unwind and drift off even more easily.

If you’d like to support the show during the break, here are three small things that make a big difference. First, follow or subscribe in your app so you never miss a new episode. Second, leave a short review, even one line helps others find British Bliss. And third, share your favourite episode with a friend who could use a better night’s sleep.

And if you’d like to help shape the show or future stories, I’d love to hear from you. You can email me at chris@britishbliss.co.uk. That’s chris@britishbliss.co.uk.

Thank you again to every listener, subscriber, and reviewer for being part of British Bliss. I’ll see you in November, and until then, I wish you the most blissful of sleeps.
